Cohiba's first box-pressed release...
As the first new regular-production Cohiba from General Cigar since 2020, it's both the brand's first box-pressed release and the first time that a Cohiba comes dressed in a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Utilizing a Honduran binder and four different long-fillers from Honduras (Jamastran Valley and La Entrada) and Nicaraguan (Condega and Estelí), Rivera also breaks tradition by being rolled in Nicaragua instead of the Dominican Republic.
“Cohiba Riviera is a bold yet balanced blend of the most exceptional tobaccos from Nicaragua with exclusively-grown tobaccos from Honduras,” according to brand Ambassador Sean Williams. Medium-to-full bodied, Riviera is an elegant offering providing the palate with notes of dark chocolate, coffee bean, leather and a subtle creaminess on the finish.
